Besides scientific activities described in the workpackages, scientific animation will consist in:
A kick-off meeting, which took place in Montpellier, 3-6 February 2009.
Three workshops, to be held at the end of 2009, 2010 and 2011, in order to plan activities, share results and analyses, and agree on methodologies.
A regional conference, which will gather regional stakeholders (forest administrations, research institutes, universities, logging companies, NGOs, etc.), to be held in Yaoundé (Cameroon) early 2012. It will aim at disseminating project results and discussing the most useful tools to be provided to decision makers at the end of the project.
An international conference, to take place in Montpellier, France, at the end of 2012, to share CoForChange results with the international scientific community. EU decision makers will be invited – a session will be dedicated to management and policy implications.
